iVRy: A Virtual Reality Headset App for Android
iVRy is a VR headset app that enables Android users to play PC VR titles without purchasing a high-end headset. The app is SteamVR-compatible and features a native high-performance driver for Valve's OpenVR/SteamVR. It supports wired (USB) connections for better visual quality and performance, as well as wireless (Wi-Fi) connections for greater mobility. The app automatically adjusts quality to maintain optimal frame rates on all connection types, and it has user-configurable quality and performance options. Users can also configure vignette options and use their VR headset's Cardboard QR code for optimal lens distortion correction and field-of-view. iVRy integrates natively into SteamVR, so there's no need for additional configuration or server apps. It is compatible with most HTC Vive and Oculus Rift titles, including Robinson: The Journey, Adr1ft, Project CARS, Obduction, Elite Dangerous, EVE: Valkerie, Chronos, Assetto Corsa, and many more.
